Ruby is a fruit fanatic. Honestly, she is a good eater and will at least try almost anything we put in front of her. Sometimes we have to talk her into finishing her food, but fruit is one item that we never have to push her to eat. It isn't unusual for this girl to down 2-3 pieces of fruit per meal and still request more! Tonight before we even got out of the car after dance, she asked me if she could have applesauce for dinner. After she finished her tuna sandwich and part of my pasta and part of daddy's pizza (it was a leftover night), she spotted the kiwis on the counter and asked for one. The lucky little girl didn't want it cut up, so daddy peeled it and gave it to her whole and she dominated it in about 3 minutes before she ate a banana and then requested another kiwi. We drew the line there.
After dinner, I was cleaning up a bit and then looked over at my fam and realized the way of the world. Tyler was busy working on his lap top and Ruby was playing a Spanish game on the iPad. Good grief. So techy. At least there is always song coming from Ruby, regardless of what she's doing!
