Baby? What baby?!

40 weeks + 2 days. Nothin. Today I stayed home from work. I didn't sleep well last night and was very uncomfortable. My long-term sub is situated and ready to go, so I decided at 3 AM that I had worked my final day before Baby E2 arrives. After relaxing for a bit this morning, I headed off to the gym for a brisk walk on the treadmill. I'm sure I looked completely foolish waddling throughout my mile-long walk, but oh well. I was determined it would set off some contractions. Nothin. Next, I went to get a pedicure. I had had a few pedicures throughout the pregnancy and they always avoided rubbing certain areas of my feet so they wouldn't' induce labor. Today I requested that they pay particular attention to those areas. Nothin. I came home and did some work around the house. Nothin. I took a nap. Nothin. So... tomorrow is my next doctor appointment and I'm hoping the doc will do something to get things rolling for me. I'm ready to meet our girl.
